The Hills in
February People will say that there are no seasons in Southern California. Most remember it as dry browns and golds. In autumn and on into winter the warm golds and browns of the grass and brush fade from the bleaching sun and take on a lavender gray hue. But when the winter rains finally arrive, Southern California is quickly transformed into lush green. Often, the green is as short lived as is our rainy season and the green grasses quickly go to seed and begin to turn gold. |
