The bell tower and this area of San Juan Capistrano
Mission is not the church but was used as a warehouse for
the Mission. I painted this scene when I participated in
the first annual plein air painting event at San Juan
Capistrano Mission with members of the California Art
Club sponsored by Mrs. Joan Irvine Smith.
