| I visited Tom at work in his crane high above the East Basin. There's an incredible view over miles of the Long Beach and Los Angeles dockland. Down below, trucks are reduced to little models and the huge containers look like toy blocks. I painted the energy of random color and symmetry spreading into infinity. |
